Intergration Policy (jan 1, 1967 – 23h 31min, apr 26, 2024 y)
Description:
The Integration policy led onto the Self-Determination policy which was described as ‘Aboriginal communities deciding the pace and nature of their future development as significant components within a diverse Australia’.
It recognised that Aboriginal people had a right to be involved in decision making about their own lives. In all essence, the Indigenous population were given back basic human rights and were treated as 'normal' people of society
