The Battle of Monte Cassino (jan 15, 1944 – mar 15, 1944)
Description:
Monte Cassino was the last stronghold in Italy and after it was captured by Allied forces Italy surrendered. This battle was a bloody battle becuase it took multiple Allied attacks and many bomb run to get the city weak enough to invade.
