Alexander the Conqueror (jan 1, 336 BC – jun 15, 323 BC)
Description:
At the age of twenty, Phillip of Macedonia’s son becomes King. Taught by the scholar Aristotle, he is a great warrior and empire builder, and his first victories are against Persia and Egypt. He invades Egypt and founds the city of Alexandria.
In an attempt to conquer the world, he marches with his army to India but his soldiers become so exhausted they demand to return
home. Alexander still manages to build a vast empire, founding many cities. He dies in a drunken party at age 33.
