History of the Book Timeline

Made by A.E. Shuff in February 2025 for IST 632: Management and Organization of Special Collections at the Syracuse University iSchool. Dates given for events on the timeline are approximate. I chose to draw examples from historical medical texts due to my interest in the field and my prior experience studying medical texts ranging from the Classical period to the 19th century.
