History of the Albanian People

A timeline of Albanian History, with additional relevant information on Prehistoric Europe, Classical Antiquity, Middle Ages, Modernity, and Post-Modernity. The timeline attempts to prove the continuation of Western Hunter Gatherers through their mixture with Early European Farmers, and the latter's amalgamation with Bronze Age Riders of the Western Steppes. Furthermore, it links these groups, through archeological and genetic analysis to early Illyrian cultures, and then into more isolated groups within Illyrians which would later become the Mediaval Albanians. The rest of Albanian history is easier to prove, and it is abundant in domestic and foreign sources. Enjoy :)
