Bible in Context
An attempt to date events of the Bible (focussed on the Old Testament) using absolute dates. I have mostly included events that can be associated with non-biblical sources that are themselves datable.
I have included information of non-biblical sources where required, and linked them to the associated Bible passages.
Date ranges for prophets are mainly estimates.
For context I have included non-biblical events, such as founding of Rome and beginning of Athenian democracy.
Prophets dates are estimated date ranges.
I've avoided using too many 'relative dates', and will be focussing mainly on where biblical events can be aligned with events known to have an 'absolute date'.
