The USF Constellation was launched in 1797
Due to the Naval Act of 1794, construction of the USF Constellation was authorized.
The USF Constellation was deconstructed in 1854. Some of the Frigates' timbers were used to build the USS Constellation sloop-of-war that currently sits on the inner harbor today.
The USF Constellation was used in the Quasi-War with France. The First Barbary war, The War of 1812, and the Second Barbary war.
In 1825 The Constellation was chosen as flagship for Commodore Lewis Warrington and began duty with the West Indies Squadron to eradicate waning piracy operations in the Caribbean.
