Federalist Party
Sometimes reffered to as
the Pro administration Party.
It was the first American Political party.
They believed in a strong government with
strong fiscal roots.Democratic- Republican Party
Formed by Thomas Jefferson
and James Madison. It was made in opposition to
Alexander Hamilton's New Federalist party.
They did not believe a strong central

Movement stated as an opposition to the Free Masonry party.
This party flourished in the heated political atmosphere because the

Anti- Jacksonian Party. It evolved off a faction of the Democratic Republican Party

This party acted as a glue pulling together former members of the National Republican and the Anti Masonic Party.
It was made in opposition to Andrew Jackson and the Democrats. Whigs stood for protective tarrifs, national banking,
and fedral aid for internal improvemet.
