Sibley tries to get the Dakota to surrender but they say no. Sibley’s army marches to Wood lake and some soldiers looking for food stumbles upon some Dakota preparing to attack Sibley’s army. The battle is begun and at the end it is huge loss for the Dakota. The war is over.
