This “revolution” was really more of a coup d’etat. On November 6-7, 1917, Lenin lead his Bolshevik party against the Provisional Government in a nearly bloodless revolution. Lenin called for a more Soviet government than the Provisional Government was providing. When the day was won, Lenin became the dictator of the first first ever communist state.
