Leon Trotsky was a russian revolutionary that helped Vladimir Lenin start the revolution of 1917. When Lenin died he and Stalin fought for power and control of the Soviet Union when he lost he was exiled and later killed. Trotsky was a bolshevik who fought against the bolsheviks (Lenin).
