Hurricane sandy was strong. Water entered my house, into the walls and windows. People couldn't work, My parents had to stay home for at least a week. i was glad my family was altogether. My parents are hardworkers so i barely saw them but since the hurricane happened and no school i saw them for like a week more than 2 hours. The lights went out so we used candles. Our rooms were wet so we all slept in the living room. We put two couches together to make it as a bed. So i slept there with my sister and the other two couches were big so my parents slept there.
