1 gen 2012 anni - Generation eight

this is the latest generation to be out as this is the generation that all of the consoles have gotten to their peak around this time and will be focusing on improving what they have.

WiiU
Nintendo Switch

this was the generation that Nintendo had brought out 2 completely different timelines which had a success and a failure, as the Wii U didn't live up to the hype, however the Nintendo switch brought Nintendo with one of its first releases, which was legend of Zelda breath of the wild which instantly got people back on board with Nintendo, and once again the other two, Sony and Microsoft stayed safe with their consoles leaving xbox one and PS4 with nothing more then upgrades, then a completely different console.

for the hand helds:

3DS
PSVita

even thought the 3DS was clearing the market over the PSVita it was still determined to make a profit from itself, and it did okay, however the 3DS brought more to the table, which was the option to make the screen give a 3D look to it so it made everylook look like it had depth, the only issue was the fact that it hurts your eyes if you look at it too long.

one of the games on the 3DS being fire emblem which worked great on the the 3DS as it came with touch screen controls which made for an amazing stratagy based game.
