16 dic 1773 anni - Road to Revolution: Boston Tea Party
Descrizione:
All the earlier acts lead to the Boston Tea Party, this was a big pre-revolutionary event where over 180 people lead by the Sons of Liberty made a protest against the British government. Boston patriots, dressed as Mohawk Indians, raised three British ships and dumped 342 containers of tea into the harbour. This event was important for the revolution because of all the tension that was built up and also because the British wanted to punish the colonists and invented the next act.
