The Anti-Comintern pact was an agreement between Germany, Italy and Japan, that they would work together to stop the spread of communism around the globe. This was aimed at the USSR. As the Anti-Comintern pact's secret additional protocol between Germany and Japan against the USSR was to forbid political treaties by either state without expressed mutual consent with the Soviet Union. they failed to stop communism.
