25 nov 1950 anni - Chinese Intervention
Descrizione:
MacArthur attacked north of the 38th parallel as he was confident the Chinese would not intervene in the Korean War despite the statements made by the Chinese which said otherwise. (Due to MacArthur convincing the U.S. of this as well, the U.S. didn't end the war but pushed a UN resolution calling for a "unified, democratic" Korea.) By thanksgiving in 1950, the allied forces had reached the Chinese border at the Yalu River. Threatened, on November 25th, 300,000 Chinese soldiers attacked South Korean and United States positions. Outnumbered, the UN forces were pushed back.
