On September 1, 1939 Hitler and his Nazi party invaded Poland. After World War 1, an article called the Treaty of Versailles was published, which put the blame on Germany for World War 1. This made Hitler and his Nazi party very angry. After this treaty, Hitler gained power and used this power to invade Poland. This is important because, invading Poland was involved going against the Treaty of Versailles, which Hitler had been doing for months. After invading Poland, this was the final straw, and started World War Two. This was so significant because World War I had been called "The war to end all wars". Hitler invading Poland restarted war, showing how dangerous it would be to let Hitler have power.
