Descrizione:
This act taxed sugar, coffee tea, wine, and other products that were imported. They actually reduced the tax on molasses, but the colonists did not know they were being taxed in the first place, so they got angry. This caused an expansion of the vice- admiralty courts. The colonists protested the taxation and planned to boycott certain English imports.
