A new settlement appears on the same site as Abu Hureyra, this time a permanent village of rectangular mud-brick houses connected by narrow alley ways. At first the inhabitants hunt gazelle intensively; Later, cereals quickly become important (in just a few centuries?), although wild foods remain important too for 2500 years.
