Hitler was sentenced to prison in 1923 after attempting to overthrow the German government. He was sentenced to 5 years but only stayed for 9 months. While in prison, Hitler wrote his autobiography, "Mein Kampf". It outlined his belief as well as proposed acts of defiance against certain things.
