The study found that there was an insignificant difference in heart heath of patients who were on a completely plant-based diets and patients on a mainly plant-based diets that included meat. This study also found that vegans who ate unhealthy vegan food, such as potato chips or sweetened drinks, could be more likely to have heart problems than people who ate plant-based diets that included meat. This suggests that meat does not have the bad effect on your heart that many vegans suggest it does, and that just being vegan isn't always healthy.
