2022.11.23 - Numbers

On 2022.11.23 at 2:57:47 UTC, the Hypernative system detected a deployment of a potentially malicious contract that was aimed to exploit "Numbers", a decentralized protocol for photographs and videos, for around $13K. Our initial analysis shows that the attacker forgot to defend its own contract and his own attack transaction was front-run by a MEV bot which activated the attack contract netting the MEV bot ~13K USD. The hack itself occurred at 03:19:11 AM UTC, 22 minutes after Hypernative's first detection of the suspicious behavior.
