MIDTERM PROJECT
Throughout American history, the various people in charge of the nation have given their best efforts to avoid conflict completely. Despite the attempts to satisfy everyone with their executive decisions, conflict has always been and always will be inevitable, as seen from as early as when Columbus entered the Americas and began exploring to when Thomas Jefferson closed all the exports to Britain and France.
Power abuse has also been a prevalent theme throughout American history as seen primarily by Britain staying in power over the colonists that specifically left to start a life away from the British government. The slave trade is also a large event that deals with abusive power, since the slaves were forced into an entirely new life against their will.
