In 2008 at the Summer Olympics in Beijing, Usain St. Leo Bolt broke the world record for fastest 100m sprint ever. His time was 9.69 beating the previous record by 0.3 of a second even without a tail wind, and slowing down toward the finish to celebrate he was so far ahead. Bolt went on to win gold in the 100m and the 200m races at the games, and is now one of the most celebrated olympic runners of all time.
