The law of the maximum essentially stated that any high ranking official of France, King, Queen, Various Minster of Government, Nobles and other members of parliament, military or royal family.
It was during the French revolution that the law of the maximum was purposed, it was in essence an extension of the existing law: law of the suspects.
During the french revolution over 165,600 people were executed. But this does not include those who died in captivity, suicide, murder etc.
