may 1, 1713 - Time To Give Everything Back (1713) The French victories in Rupert’s Land did not last. The Treaty of Utrecht brought peace between Britain and France both in North America and in Europe. It returned the Hudson Bay lands, Acadia, and Newfoundland to the British in 1713.
