Description:
A spy plane of the United States flew over a Soviet missile base in Cuba. To resolve this conflict President Kennedy placed a Sea Blockade of Naval ships around the island of Cuba. The objective of this “Quarantine” was to get the Soviets to remove their missiles and base from Cuba. The final agreement resulted in the Missiles and bases being removed in Cuba, and the US had to do the same in Turkey and not attack Cuba.
