A new Immigration Act is implemented, this one takes a new direction. It shows Canada's willingness to be accepting and desire to be non-discriminatory, as stated in the Act.
This Impacted Canada today by setting force behind a change in Canadian attitude. By this I mean that a change in attitude with no force, in this case legislature, behind it, nothing will come of it. The force applied with the change in attitude started the path towards what we are today.
