Description:
Berlin was surrounded by Soviet forces on April 25th, 1945, causing them to unconditionally surrender on May 7th, 1945. Adolf Hitler supposedly committed suicide on April 30th, 1945, as the Soviets grew closer to his command center. Germany surrendered in the west on May 7th, 1945, and in the east on May 9th, 1945.
