mar 17, 2016 - I turned 11 and broke my ankle

It was on my 11th birthday where i somehow broke my ankle doing long jump. So during PE that day I was having a competition between my friend to see who could jump the longest and make it look cool. So on my second try I landed by then kind of jumped up at the same time which broke my right ankle. There was a loud crack that was even able to be heard from the other side of the oval. The pain was so excruciating that I couldn't even stand up for about a minute because of it. After that, i had to limp across the oval, through to the front of the school to the office so I could get an ice pack. By then, the crack in my ankle probably doubled. After i got my ice pack I had to limp all the way up the stairs to my classroom t get my recess and all the way down to enjoy recess but it took so long that i pretty much had only 1 minute of recess and then i had to go back up again. Later that day, the ice pack lost its coldness and i had to go back down to the office to get a new one and go back up the stairs again. by lunch time, my ankle was so swollen and i was sent down to the office again for good so i could be picked up by my mum and go get it x-rayed. I didn't get crutches until the next day which really helped my leg break more. a couple of days later the doctor told me i had broken it and i got a cast for 6 weeks ten a moon boot for another 2.
