Description:
The Boston Massacre occured on March 5 1770. A squad of British soldiers come to support a sentry in Boston Massachusetts, that was pressed by the Boston crowd, the soldiers fired and killed 5 people. After the British officer that was in charge, Captain Thomas Preston was arrested for manslaughter. Eight men were also arrested for the same reason but all were later acquitted. It was named the Boston Massacre to dramatize the event so the British Empire would be more hated.
