Description:
The lengthy speech given by McCarthy would state that the United State's Army was full of communists. He would also tell that this was the same reason that the U.S. was not winning the cold war. McCarthy was beginning to become a major opposition. It would be said in private by Truman that it was time for McCarthy to be stopped. Many would be hesitant when either supporting him and/or opposing him. This included the media.
