jan 1, 1901 - Rasputin
Description:
Rasputin was a uneducated peasant. He left Siberia, where he lived, and just wandered and started to become known around. People thought he could heal the sick and acted as if he was immortal. After about four years of building up a reputation, Rasputin met Alexandra, the tsarina of Russia at the time. Alexandra completely believed in his powers and he ended up "saving" he son from death. This caused Rasputin to become very well known throughout Russia. Then, during World War I started and Alexandra was in charge, she gave her power over to Rasputin. As much as Alexandra loved him, not many others did. Rasputin was murdered in December 1916.
