Jennifer Lawrence is born on August 15th, 1990, in Indian Hills, Kentucky. Her father, Gary Lawrence, was a construction worker while he mother, Karen Lawrence, was a summer camp manager. Jennifer was raised on the family farm alongside her 2 older brothers: Ben and Blaine. She grew up a tomboy and was involved in many sports such as basketball, field hockey, softball, and cheerleading. Growing up, she often lied to get herself out of trouble. The lies and fake stories she would make up were the first signs of the future career she would have in acting.
