The Battle Of Stalingrad started in July 1942 and ended in February 1943. The battle was between Germany and the Axis Powers and the Soviet Union. The battle was a fight for the city of Stalingrad in Southern Russia. On February 2nd, 1943 General Paulus of the Nazi Army surrendered and pulled his men from the city. The battle was a huge Soviet victory, as Germany lost around 150,000 soldiers.
