Description:
On December 7 1941, Japan launched a surprise attack on Pearl Harbor. In hopes of discouraging Americans and warning them of staying out of the war, the japanese killed many civilians and damaged 19 ships. However, this plan failed because the day later, Congress declared war on Japan officially joining the war.
