Description:
Joan died when she was 19. She was burned at the stake on charges of heresy. She died of smoke inhalation and The Cardinal of Winchester is recorded as having ordered her to be burnt a second time. Her organs somehow survived this fire, so a third burning was called to destroy the whole body.
