jan 14, 1943 - Casablanca Confernce
Description:
January 1943, Roosevelt and Churchill set up a meeting in Casablanca, Morocco. Within the conference the leaders discussed plans of action in which to move forward such as bombing German cities , and there Churchill persuaded Roosevelt to postpone the opening of the western front as well as stop the surrender to axis forces. This is important because the the whole outcome of the war could have been flopped without the persuadion of Churchill to Rossevelt, thus interchangeably impacting the war.
