dec 16, 1944 - Battle of the Bulge
The Battle of the Bulge was a significant turning point in WWII. This is because Germans sensed a weakness and “launched a blitzkrieg attack” which created a 60 mile bulge in allie defenses. Even through the harsh conditions allied forces fought off German tank attacks and forces enough losses on Hitler’s army, it took away it's ability to launch further attacks.
