jan 1, 10 - Heron of Alexandria, Heron was the best experimenter in math history his inventions included things like the windmills, pantograph as well as the steam turbine. he created these amazing inventions by the formula that he created also known as the Hero's formula. the Hero's formula allows you to calculate the area of a triangle using only the length of the sides of the triangle. this is important to math because it demonstrated how it would be possible to calculate the area of any shape big or small.
