Description:
At 3:00 p.m. 100 Dakota people attacked New Ulm. The fight lasted for two hours, until it started rapidly raining. Governor Alexander Ramsey gets word of the attack while in St. Paul, and commissioned Henry Sibley to lead an attack on the Dakota. The attack existed mostly of untrained civilians.
