jan 1, 1676 - Bacon's rebellion took place in the year of 1676.
Description:
Bacon’s rebellion began when colonists from Jamestown decided to take their own action to the situation they were facing. This caused different groups of people to begin to work with each other in order to fight against the same groups that they were all targeting. The groups of people that were being targeted were known as the Powhatans and the upper class or those who were also known to have more privileges than others. Frontiersmen, white indentured servants, black slaves, and others who were considered to be poor, all joined together to fight against those who had more power than them in view that they did not like the way the government was running things in society based on the different and several reasons that was coming from each of the group. This had all began when Nathaniel Bacon became the leader and created the rebellion in 1676.
