Description:
Propaganda is the use of any genre of media for the purpose of influencing the masses, usually for a political or social issue. Posters, music, film footage, slogans, poetry, and other art forms can all be used as propaganda. However, during the 20th-century posters and slogans were the most common. The Bolsheviks were highly successful in their use of propaganda. The Bolshevik used propoganda to glorify their leader, Vladimir Lenin. Many posters were printed showing Lenin speaking to crowds. These types of posters depicted Lenin as someone who any common Russian could relate to, but also as a man who was a strong leader.
