Description:
In a desperate effort to gain allies against the growing German threat, France officially declares war on Nationalist Spain, allowing the French military proper to help end the war. The combined force of Republican Spain and the French manage to slowly push back the Nationalists. The French also pledge to help the Spanish rebuild. The Nationalist government pleads with Hitler for increased aid, but the pleas are met with silence. The increasingly desperate British begin to see an alliance with France as a chance of survival, and talks are opened between French and British diplomats, although they are very slow to get anywhere.
