nov 25, 1837 - The Rebellion of
Lower Canada;
Battle of St. Charles
(Second Main Battle)
Description:
The British "stood back up" and decided that they aren't going to let Les Patriotes rebel. And so, they fire back with 350 British troops, outnumbering Les Patriotes by 250 troops. The British bombarded the place where Les Patriotes were ready to fight, with cannons, and then they charged. Sixty Patriotes were killed, leaving 40 on the run. The result of this Battle was the British's Victory, leaving the British and Les Patriotes, tied. (The British also burned Les Patriotes' town, down.)
