On this day, the world was caught in a state of decisive torment. Neither the Allied or the Axis forces would relent in their untiring battle for power, the world torn apart by their conflict. Many Jewish and German men, women, (and even children) saw suicide as the only way out of this artificial hell, resulting in 3 distinct periods of mass suicide and regret. There were even some cases where a parent would kill their children in their sleep, before taking his or her own life. To this day, suicide rates increase every day, to a point where every 40 seconds, another suicide will be committed. This ratio is predicted to increase even more in the near future. You can give a person nutritious food and clean water, but humans are not "healthy" until they obtain full mental independence.
