Description:

The Terms of the Treaty of Austin state that:

Mexico must cede all lands claimed by the Republic of Texas to said nation.

Mexico must recognise the full independence of the Republic of Texas.

Mexico must demilitarise for a period of ten years.

Santa Anna must step down from his seat as President.

Mexico must cede the states of California and New Mexico to the Native Peoples of the region, to establish a confederation of their own under British oversight.

Mexico must allow British Troops to be stationed within its borders, until such time as its own militarisation may proceed.
