Description:
George Stephenson created the first ever locomotive which was a similar concept to the automobile. In the sense that they are both using a steam engine but the first public railway did not come until 20 years later in 1824 the loco motive wasn't very fast either. It could carry approximately 30 tons of coal but going at 4 miles per hour. This was called a "Blücher"
