One if not the most prominent opera-ballet, a French entertainment form where dance is as prevalent as lyrical chant. Where the tragédie lyrique focuses on lyrical chant and tells stories from Classical mythology, the opera-ballet takes a lighter approach and revolves around the affairs of the heart in a contemporary setting.
The story is based around a conflict between Hebe (greek goddess of youth) and Bellona (roman goddess of war and pretty fun character in Smite), the former wanting young people to love and enjoy their lives and the latter wanting to send them to war. It unfolds in 4 acts, each in a different location (from Peru to Persia) and featuring different characters.
