This was an expedition that resulted in Lewis and Clark leaving from St. Louis, Missouri, and explored the Northwest from the Mississippi River to the Pacific Ocean.

There expedition ended around the Columbian River where the explorers were able to bring a lot of information about the resources and the unexplored region of modern day Oregon.
